Donna Summer (born on December 31, 1948) was an American singer and songwriter. She gained prominence during the disco era of the late 1970s. She won five Grammy Awards. Summer was the first artist to have three consecutive double albums reach number one on the United States Billboard album chart and charted four number-one singles in the United States within a 13 month period. Summer is predictable to have sold 130 million records globally. She was very fond of singing. She used to go through the house singing. Her debut performance was occurred at church at the age of 10. In 1967, Summer left New York where she was a member of Blues Rock Band Crow.
