The reason behind the success of Tamil movies in these countries is the large number of Tamil population residing here. Apart from this, Tamil movies are also dubbed in various other languages of the nation and are extremely popular in other regions of the country too. The government of India has allowed a Foreign Direct Investment of 100% in film making in terms of production, financing, technology used, designing and distribution. The Tamil movies have been in great advantage because of this and are now able to produce large budgets movies by accessing  all aids from the foreign nations for the technologies used for film making.

All those vijay and ajith supporters, this list is not about actors but quality movies for referral purpose. This list can be used for research by anyone in this world and its not about how much the film made. If it has good story and can bring tamil cinema to world stage, then put it in.

This information is the view of a single person. Neither he did any survey nor considered major factors.

He considered only the factor ie. the earnings.

Any how the above information is not acceptable as it is vague..

Regarding Hey Ram, Toronto film school students study this movie as a subject. A subject for one semester..
