International Khiladi 420 of Bollywood Aka Akki : Akshay Kumar, originally named as Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia was born on 9 September, 1967. Akshay is a famous Indian film actor , film producer and a martial artist. Akshay was born in Amritsar, Punjab, son of an army officer. He is a black belt in Teakwondo and has studied martial arts in Bangkok,Thailand, where he worked as a chef and waiter. After returning to Mumbai he started teaching martial arts and one of his student recommended modelling to him. From modelling he got lucky and got a chance to work with producer Pramod Chakravarthy   for the lead role in the movie Deedar. Akshay Kumar has done over 125 films, is nominated for Filmfare Awards for several time and winning it two times.

In 2009 Government of India awarded him with Padma Shri and in 2011 for his brilliant achievement in hindi cinema he was honoured by The Asian Awards.
